Our TRAINING

I understand that the Elijah House New Zealand (EHNZ) school is an intensive course based on Christian principles which are founded on the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit. I am attending this school of my own volition. I commit to fulfilling the requirements of the school, making appropriate disclosure, maintaining respect of others and keeping in strict confidence all matters shared in the context of the school.

I understand that although issues may surface, my primary purpose in attending is to receive training.

I hereby indemnify and hold EHNZ staff, facilitators, teachers, group leaders, volunteers or any other person involved in the school blameless from any liability and from personal responses to the teaching or small group involvement that may arise during the school.

I acknowledge that this is not a counselling school nor is it designed as such. If in the process of the application, it is recommended that I receive personal ministry before being able to attend, I will seek the appropriate ministry prior to undertaking the school. Attending such ministry will not guarantee admission to the school. I agree to review the ministry and my readiness and suitability to attend with the school facilitator. In the event that I am currently in therapy, I confirm that I have discussed with my counsellor or therapist my interest in taking this training school and neither of us sees any reason for me not to participate in such training. I am willing for my counsellor/therapist or Pastor to be contacted by Elijah House to discuss this should Elijah House request it.

I submit my application to EHNZ on this basis and agree to abide by the determination of EHNZ personnel or their representatives as to the suitability of my participation in the school. I hereby agree to indemnify and hold EHNZ free from liability in all respects, including costs, time, travel, accommodations or any other associated cost should the school be cancelled or altered in any way, or I am denied acceptance, or if I am requested to discontinue the school at any stage.

In addition, I give permission to EHNZ to retain my contact details on their database to provide updates on national or regional news, schools and any other EHNZ related activity. I understand that EHNZ will not pass on my details to a third party. I also understand that I can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time by contacting the EHNZ. (Refer EHNZ Privacy Policy on EHNZ website).

I also understand that EHNZ may take photographs of graduating schools and students, which may or may not be used for promotional purposes. I give my consent for any images of me to be used on EHNZ promotional material. Please note: if you do not consent to this aspect of this waiver please advise EHNZ upon application via email admin@elijahhouse.org.nz

I enter into this training as a student to learn, seeking to receive all that God has for me so that I may become better equipped "…for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12).
